I guess it’s officially winter now. The car was iced up this morning, the hundred odd geese resting on the loch were making a racket and, of course, the ultimate tell-tale sign: the Chinese takeaway have started giving out free 2010 calendars with every order.
Winter up here is dark – and cold – but the nights out seem to sparkle more as the lasses make up for the dingy days by wearing sparkles. Maybe it’s just the fact that I’m from dahn sahf, where there is some darktime at nightime all year around, but it doesn’t feel like a proper night out unless I am going home in the dark
I’ve finally managed to get that song out of my head which was making me think too much. Now it’s filled with Sterephonic-ness (sorry Lis!)

So as half of the country seems to be disappearing under water, you can take it as given that we’re close to being in that half… and so I’ll talk about something else instead.
Did you go out on for Halloween? Did you dress up? Did you have an awesome night? Did you take photos? Are you still suffering?
Yes, yes, definitely yes, not enough and yes. Booo.
Oh and I still have Naked in my head, even if it was I got a feeling I was singing on Sunday morning (don’t disown me iLis!). I recall being told that the latter is now mine and my mates “going out song”. Well, if you don’t have a going out song then you’ve nothing to start the night with and nothing to getting drunkenly excited about and dance like a crazy fool to when you’re in the club type place at the end of the night.
Yeah, this has descended into an incoherent second-day-of-hangover blog entry. Must remember I’m not a full time student or outdoor ed instructor anymore – I blame being out of practise at this sort of thing… not that getting old…..
Back to work and making the server complain!
